Amanda Ortiz is a licensed acupuncturist certified by the California Acupuncture Board. An artist at heart, she was born and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Her private practice is located in Venice Beach, CA.
Amanda works through the holistic lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine to address health concerns. She uses gentle techniques and integrates a variety of methods into her practice such as acupuncture, cupping, tuina, gua sha, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations.
Her goal as a practitioner is to help her patients feel better in her care and to provide them with a calming and peaceful experience so that they can let go and rest while they’re here. Her treatments are centered around the patient in front of her and what they need at that moment in time.
Amanda received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University and is continuing her education as a doctoral candidate with a specialty in Healthy Aging and Longevity. She is also a certified holistic nutritionist, yoga teacher, and mat Pilates fitness instructor.
